Sky here reckons Leach is claiming White House policy in Iraq is "misguided".He says the Administration is looking at a 7/8 year prescence,by which time they believe the Middle East will open up to wider US influence-and that he believes this to be a badly flawed assumption.

Sorry I'm para-phrasing-but that's the gist.

I'd assumed he was a Democrat until I looked closer.He used to work for Rumsfeld,right ?
