From all of the signals I'm picking up , looks like IL RINOs learned the same lesson as the Demonrats on Nov.5 ...
the party needs to turn LEFT !!

The IL Rep. party is becoming the "Right Wing" of the Demoncrat Party ...
they're hot after Sen. Fitzgerald , that's for sure ... he dared to "offend" the RINOs ...

if they bounce him , I'm be voting Libertarian in IL ... the party is leaving me , I'm not leaving the party .....

I dont understand that either,the fact is Fitzgearld is the most popular repub,in IL,he also has done more to cleanup dirty politics in this state than anyone else.He fought wasteful spending.He brought in an outsider for U.S.ATTY.pretty good considering Durbin always brought in politcal hacks who are beholding to all the demonRats.

He`s pretty good,pro-taxcut,supports w`s nominees,he doesint owe anyone any favors(being born into 50million bucks give him that luxury,he`s honest although I dont always agree with him, he does what he says he will do and who the heck always agree`s with a pol anyway?

On guns he`s kind of wish washy,not a gun banner like the turbin but not exactly Charlton Heston.

All in All the GOP is better with him than without him.But they are eating there own in trying to get him thrown out,big mistake too because the GOP doesint need to lose another Senate Seat.

When you have former Repub. Gov Jim Thompson working behind the scenes for Dem.Gov Blago@@@@h(how do you spell his name?)and the current Scumbag Rep. Gov George Ryan sandbagging Rep. Gov hopeful Jim Ryan ... the IL [img]graemlins/gop.gif[/img] really has a foul odor .
I have a friend that ran for county board in the Aurora area and some of the precnct men did not even campaign for him ...
and the IL [img]graemlins/gop.gif[/img] really shafted Durkin in his run against Durbin ...
and George Ryan practically endorsed Lisa Madigan for Atty General ...

I know what your talking about dPrasse,there are many good people in the GOP, but many of these good people have been shafted by there own.

I happen to know some of the so-called leaders of the Kane County Republican party and you want to talk about stupid!

My God those people are dumb,I cant for the life of me figure out how some of them got where they are at. In the primarys they actually supported Mrs, Wood,the same women who was endorsed by the N.O.W. gang,talk about your RINO`S!
The most conservative candidate was Patrick O`Malley,I really wanted him to win for Gov,but he received little in support from the GOP.

There are some good KC GOP`ers Chris Lauzin is a good man,Pat Lindner is good....And my old pal that pulls as many strings as he can behind the scenes Robert Russell,he really tried to lead the horses to water but if the dumb SOB`S wont drink,theres not much you can do about it.

I surved with his dad on our county board , here ... say "Hey"

I was invited to the Kane County Repub. Hog Roast , but had another committment that day
