Obama: America a Superpower 'Whether We Like It or Not

"It is a vital national security interest of the United States to reduce these conflicts because whether we like it or not, we remain a dominant military superpower, and when conflicts break out, one way or another we get pulled into them," Obama said. "And that ends up costing us significantly in terms of both blood and treasure."

No doubt the Appeaser-n-Chief has plans to remedy that point.

McCan't at least had problems with Obama's statement.

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., slammed the leader of the free world Thursday, calling the remark a "direct contradiction to everything America believes in."
"That's one of the more incredible statements I've ever heard a president of the United States make in modern times," McCain, a Vietnam veteran and former prisoner of war, told Fox News. "We are the dominant superpower, and we're the greatest force for good in the history of this country, and I thank God every day that we are a dominant superpower."

The remark got little attention in mainstream coverage of the summit, but was picked up on several conservative blogs, which panned the president for suggesting Americans had grown weary of superpower status.

Gates: Obama Has No Long-Range Plan to Stop Iran's Nuke Drive

A memo from Defense Secretary Robert Gates to the White House warned that the United States lacks a nimble long-term plan for dealing with Iran's nuclear program, according to a published report.
Gates wrote the three-page memo in January and it set off efforts in the Pentagon, White House and intelligence agencies to come up with new options, including the use of the military, The New York Times said in its Sunday editions, quoting unnamed government officials.
White House officials Saturday night strongly disagreed with the comments that the memo caused a reconsideration of the administration's approach to Iran.
"It is absolutely false that any memo touched off a reassessment of our options," National Security Council spokesman Benjamin Rhodes told The Associated Press. "This administration has been planning for all contingencies regarding Iran for many months."
One senior official described the memo as "a wake-up call," the paper reported. But the recipient of the document, Gen. James Jones, President Barack Obama's national security adviser, told the newspaper in an interview that the administration has a plan that "anticipates the full range of contingencies."

If it turns out that SSI's Minions (Obamastration) does not have a plan to stop Iran and have a timetable set to act on that plan; then SSI (Mr. Obama) should be thrown out for utterly failing at his job as CnC.
This is a case where the "Buck Stops" on Obama's desk and he has no valid excuse to put the blame else where. The whole matter rests squarely on his yellow-limp shoulders.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs says Twitter also challenges him to boil his thoughts down to 140 characters, the maximum allowed on Twitter postings.
In an interview broadcast Sunday on CNN's "Reliable Sources," Gibbs says Twitter allows him to reach not just reporters but tens of thousands of people curious about what Obama is doing.

I think a few key Democrats (aka Pelosi being one**) knew for a fact Mr. Obama was not a NBC and that he was born outside the U.S. However, they knew he was their best chance to win the 2008 election due to Mr. Obama's ability to sell fools his SnakeOil.

Now I am believe that several key Democrats know he is not an American by birth and that other Democrats have their suspicions. However, they are so far into the fraud now that if they don't keep a cap on it, they know they would be strung-up for sedition.

Overall, those involved now realize they made a very big mistake, but there is no way out. In essence, they made a deal with the Devil (aka Satan's Squatting Imp) and are stuck with it.

When we finally kick these traitors out, I sincerely hope their successors will not let them slide! They should be thoroughly investigated and prosecuted for any crimes; and prosecuted for crimes - AGAINST THE USA!
