Press airs grievances to Gibbs

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs met with a delegation from the White House press corps for 75 minutes on Thursday in an effort to improve frayed relations between the two sides.

Ed Chen, a White House correspondent for Bloomberg News who is president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, said he asked for the meeting “to clear the air because in my 10-plus years at the White House, rarely have I sensed such a level of anger, which is wide and deep, among members over White House practices and attitude toward the press.”

Chen said he feels “very good about the collegial give and take.”

“We had a very good exchange with Robert,” Chen said. “He stayed overtime, and thus was late for his next meeting.”

Was this for real? Or an attempt by the White House Propaganda Bureua to regain the MSM (DxM) some credibility?

Personally, I see this as setup event. The White House needs the MSM (DxM) to look credible so they can keep using the Media to sell Mr. Obama's Socialist agenda.

Good question..

I think the Press Corps really does feel angry and slighted by the White House, because Obama is manic about controlling propaganda, and he has no love for the press, he's just using them like he uses everything else, and he has shunned them and set up his own propaganda machine ... so they're upset .. I mean look, they're all laying off employees, things haven't been going so well for them...

On the other hand, I think the Press Corps are drinking the kool-aid still, they WANT to believe Gibbs, they want Obama to be in bed with them, but Obama has other things in mind... so the Press Corps would rather drink the kool-aid in the hopes that Gibbs (Obama) isn't lying to them (good luck) .. I mean it would be really embarrassing for them to have to eat all the glowing crap they've printed about Obama.... I'm sure they are hoping that things are going to turn around.

So, in my opinion, they went looking for satisfaction, and left with a fresh cup of kool-aid and their fingers crossed.

Perhaps the MSM (DxM) is into S&M and they like being ab-used...

Is the Obama Administration Behind An Astroturf Anti-Tea Party Website?

Writing on January 15, 2010, Glenn Greenwald at Salon noted Barack Obama’s new head of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, Cass Sunstein, had championed creating fake websites and using outside 501(c)(3) interest groups to act as alleged independent champions of government policy and to “cognitively infiltrate” opposition websites, etc.

Considering Sustein’s recommendations, it is not far removed to speculate the Obama administration is behind a new anti-tea party website called The Other 95, which defends the government from tea party criticisms and attacks the tea party movement as fringe.
The website purports to be authentically grassroots, though one must wonder when the last time was any grassroots activist took the time to defend the government.
The designer is affilated with MoveOn.org and other leftwing sites and causes.
But most notable, the donations page makes donations out to Democracy in Action. Democracy in Action is not for individual activists to use. It is for small and medium sized 501(c)(3) organizations and others on the left. Among its clients? ACORN, True Majority, NAACP, and others.

Has all the markings and stench of Obama's Chicago AstroTurfers.

Now a truly investigative UN-biased MSM (DxM) would be looking into whether this was a case of Abuse of Powers. So would members of Congress that actually represented We the People.

Administration to Tea Parties: We're on Your Side

Tea Partiers, the Obama administration is on your side.
That's been the message from the White House over the past few days, as top officials dispute charges that Washington is on a spending binge and encourage conservative protesters to count their blessings.

Now We-the-People should be praising the Obamastration for what they wrought?

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, when asked about the Tea Party protests, said in an interview Sunday that the Obama administration is paying more attention to deficit and spending concerns than the Bush administration did.

That is a Lie built on a false hood.

In reference to the falsehood - The Bush administration was concenered with deficit and spending. It was either the Democrats stalling (abusing procedures) in Congress or Democrats controlling Congress that caused the deficit and spending.
In reference to the Lie - The Obamastration has significantly increased spending, trippled the deficit, and increased the national debt to the point the celing had to be raised by two Trillion dollars. Along with passing more spending and pseudo "taxes" for Obama's _____ing ego trip known as Obamacare.

Anyone looking for "truth" from this administration, might as well look for diamonds in a trash heap!

Obama, Gibbs, et al., squirm and writhe like snakes when confronted with the truth. They can't wait to slither back into the dark holes of their deceit and lies.

He tries to put on a bold face, but Gibbs must feel like crap, having to prop up Obama, Pelosi and their lies - and he knows its a losing game.

Shame on you Gibbs! The sum of all the liars that went before you are nothing compared to what you are doing!
