Gov. Brewer wants the Border Fence Built!

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100604/...l6Z292YnJld2U-
Well it's about time! It's about time that a politician within America begins to realize the scope of just how dangerous the Illegal Immigration problem really is, and Arizona's Governor Brewer truly understands the magnitude of the danger facing America in this border crisis. Earlier today, Governor Brewer told Obama in a meeting that she held with him at the White House, that she wanted the border fence between the United States and Mexico to be completed.
This of course, was the fence that was to be built during the former Bush administration's tenure. Yet it has proved to be a rather controversial topic, and one that the politicians continue to be dead set on ignoring the will of the American people. However, it appears that the time where all politicians had a deaf ear to this issue is starting to wash away. In that I mean that Brewer is taking a firm stance on this issue, and it is a breath of fresh air to see a politician taking a true and proper stance on an issue that has been so pressing for the American people, for such a long time; and where so many politicians have been resolute in ignoring this will of the people.
I applaud the governor for her strong message and hope it persuades the Obama administration to take a more realistic approach to the immigration of the problem, I know that the Obama administration won't. Thus, I think that Brewer should become the head of the Republican party's pool for candidates for president. I think she would be an ideal presidential or vice presidential candidate for our party in 2012. Either way it is time for the Republican party puts up a candidate who is willing to stand up to the mistakes of the Obama administration, but also to the past mistakes of the Republican party itself.
The former stance that was taken on immigration by many Republicans proved to be disastrous for us in the last mid term elections. This belief that the only way for a political party to remain viable is to pander to the illegal aliens for votes is unfounded, and detrimental to the party's future. A country can only remain viable if it protects its own sovereignty, and this is an issue that transcends all presidents, political parties, and political trends.
Where a country has no true sovereignty, or no true border, or no true identity, then it seizes to be a country at all. Perhaps this is exactly the outcome the Obama administration, and ilk like it hope for. Because if you erase the identity of the country, if you erase the sovereignty of the country, you can then more easily construct a global society. I have said this time and time again, but it is true, and it is growing more true each and every day...America is in an identity crisis which is as pressing as the one it faced during the Civil War. Are we going to be a global society? Or are we going to remain as citizens of the United States of America? I believe that if we push for candidates like Governor Brewer our chances of remaining as citizens of the United States of America, as opposed to a global socialist world government, would be all the greater.
Friends, it is important that we keep our eyes on this one. It is also important that we move to take action to support candidates, and politicians who have a backbone as Governor Brewer does. We must also keep up the pressure on the Obama administration so that they do not run us aground, or distract us from the most pressing core issues facing America. The Obama administration will stop at nothing to increase the centralization of government and push us towards a global society. It is their very goal to change the existence of the American people and identity, thus it is crucial for us to ensure that our leaders firmly believe in their conservative values, and take a firm stand against the Obama administration.

While I think your view is sound, I don't completely agree with your conclusions.

Jan Brewer is a courageous and tough woman, she's a great chief executive, and just the person Arizona and America needs in Arizona at this critical time. She is not going to back down, and she is stripping all the bark off of the illegal immigration tree the left loves so. Meaning she is striking down all the touchie, feelie programs and processes the liberals have instituted with taxpayer money to nuture, house, feed and protect their newest pet "the illegal alien".

By the way, liberals are like the idiots who sneak exotic species into the USA, raise them until they are a problem and then release them when no one is looking to rid themselves of the problem. Just ask Florida about the cute pets people have sneaked in and released into the everglades. They have snakes there as big as tree trunks, that are eating indigenous species out of existence and decimating wildlife, including deer and birds, they have iguanas swarming canals and hiding in every sewer .. they have hundreds of 'alien' species creating all kinds of probelms, including eating some people's children and animals.

Back to Brewer .. Arizona needs her, we need her on that front to continue to put pressure on the feds to deal with the illegal alien issue, if she were to have the added responsibility of POTUS she would be distanced and then who would take up the cause? Who could do it as well?

Also, she is too polarizing. God bless her, but she would draw too much fire from the liberal press, and liberal groups, and hispanics to be viable. That would give liberals a 'cause', when they currently have no cause, 'cause they've screwed up everything in every direction. Liberals currently have no strength and they are drawing fire because of their very waywardness, irresponsibility, arrogance and illegal activities. We want to keep them on that footing, not give them a poster boy to shift the focus. We have others who are eloquent and capable of leading the charge on the feds in that sector.

Finally, we can't stop the global consciousness, the world is getting smaller and smaller as technology links everyone together, and our minds naturally grow as the information available grows. Global consciousness is here to stay, however, we need to keep perspective on who is who, and what is what .. this is where liberals are leading America astray. Liberals want to kneel down and pretend we are on the same level as Iran, N Korea, and all other societies; in their misplaced zeal they want to tear America down to facilitate their juvenile view of 'equality' .. they want to take what we have and split it with them, but that is akin to giving a 10 year old the keys to the car, and the bank account, and encouraging them to have sex, when they are not prepared to deal responsibly with these things. This is why liberals bring so much chaos and trouble to society. They ARE stupid! They are immoral and they are driven by the same thing that drives an angry little child, selfishness, bitterness, hatred, ill will, carelessness and a complete lack of maturity, coupled with lies, subterfuge and a 'whatever it takes' attitude to getting what they want. Just like little kids. That is why God says 'foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far from him' Proverbs 22:15

We have to beat the foolishness out of the liberal 'children' before they wreck our country, but conservative, christian Americans are shameful and irresponsible parents, sin is crouching at the doorstep. Genesis 4:7

We must take the proper tack in approaching the problems we face, or we will miss the target of our goal.

While I agree that Brewer is needed on the front in Arizona, and that she may be too polarizing, I recall my father stating just how polarizing Ronald Reagan was the first time he went for the presidency against Ford. The fact of the matter is we need some one strong up there. Not a Mit Romney, or a John McCain, or for that matter a Newt Gingrich, we need some one who understands the needs of the American people, rather than those who sway to the tune of Washington. It may sound like I'm going off the deep end here, but I really think that's the problem we've been facing, we have grown far too willing to bend to the demands of the left. If we don't find a backbone soon we will continue the downward spiral to socialism at ever increasing paces.

While my conclusion may be flawed on she being the individual needed for the presidency, I don't think I'm flawed when it comes to saying we need a real conservative at the helm of this party rather than the dribble we have had in recent elections. I don't want Republican candidates who will stand up there and say that they won't overturn health care, or attempt to turn back the tide of Obamunisum. I want us to find our spine again. However, I guess that this approach is still too radical, but how radical is too radical to save our country? I know we are all interested in the same goal, that of saving our country, but the question remains, what is the best way to run a campaign to bring this country back on course?

Only time will tell whether this tide of corruption, and destruction afflicting our country can be overturned, but strong leadership is the key. I'm not saying that we should put a pure dud up there, but what I am saying, is that we need to put some one up there who really does follow our conservative values, and really does believe in America as it is.

That's what I'm getting to. I believe in a global market place of ideas, but that's a far cry from a global government which is to rule over the American people. This is why I say we are at an identity crisis that is as critical and pressing as the one that this nation faced during the Civil War. What I mean by this is, that before the Civil War Americans usually identified themselves as citizens of their respective states, before they identified themselves as American citizens. Furthermore Americans in the time before the civil war would state “The United States of America are”, after the war it became “The United States of America is”. This grammatical shift, while subtle, actually contains a powerful paradigm shift in how Americans saw themselves.

No longer was the nation viewed as a collection of states held loosely together by a federal Republic. Rather they saw themselves as a single nation, with for better or worse, a more tightly controlled central form of government. Now the paradigm shift is between that of a national identity, with that of merely being a “province of a global government” It's very similar to the European Union idea, but this time around it's the whole world, mini unions within a much grander larger World Union. I for one do not wish to bow down to the Hague's laws. I do not want to see the American governmental system substituted by some global parliamentary system in which we will surely be ostracized.

So you see, I'm not attacking the idea of more global interaction, but rather am sharing in your concern over the loss of identity and sovereignty to some larger global unit. The United Nations shows us just how disastrous such a union could be, and it further shows us how our Nation will be treated with in such a union.

Furthermore I agree that morality must be put forward, I agree that our children need to learn their core values, again we are facing a force which has spent the past century slowly building the roots and foundations of their system, which they were putting into place piecemeal one step at a time, year by year, election by election, and gradually they controlled such things as education, media, and the court system. These are all elements of society that we must aim to regain control of. If we do not, they will continue to wield the power that they have been for so long, and continue to make it extremely difficult to preserve our nation's values.

The question is, can we find a leader who will be able to reinvigorate our cause, and march us towards a rebirth of conservative values in this country? I honestly believe that Obama is a much worse version of Carter, but as history teaches, where there is a Carter, there is also a Reagan. But it is up to us, the American people to bluster and support such a leader when we find he or she. Principals are what need to be re-established in the Republican party, more than anything else. I'm just not sure what the best way to do that is.
