Today we have lost a great man. He was husband, father, President, and great communicator.
I wrote you once in 1987 as I hope that my letter reached you even though I never received a reply. When I wrote you" if Gorbachov wanted peace tear down the Berlin Wall." I hope maybe I was one who gave you strength to bellow out that message to the ruler of the Soviet Union. I hope you enter the pleasure of the promised land as you rest in peace. Mrs Reagan, you were his strength and as a former First Lady always thinking of others as you thought about your husband. You outlived John Adams and Herbert Hoover as the oldest surviving President and now as our flag waves at half staff may we all endure your great achievements as President. There will never be another like you.
