I had the distinct pleasure of meeting this FABULOUS man in 1984. My ex-husband worked on the Shuttle's at Rockwell International in the Antelope Valley (California).President Reagan came to our Valley to recognize the efforts of the men and women, (young and old), who put forth so much time and effort on the project. What an awesome opportunity! I was a new Mom and a new voter, President Reagan was the first nominee I ever voted for. I can still see his face and neck muscles(or wrinkles) moving as he talked! I will ever be so touched and by this man. I no longer have the husband and the child now has children of her own, but the memory of that day will never fade.
