Hello,
I am from switzerland and i once had the honor to meet president reagan in person with a real nice 20 minute conversation from person to person. i was bored walking in LA as tourist and i went to all these filmstudios and so on. then one day i was standing in front of the fox plaza just knowing they did "die hard" there, but at this time i did not know that mr. reagan had his office inside this building.
when i was inside the lobby to look at all the pictures on the wall showing the filmcrew and bruce willis, just then 4 gentlemens walked in with earsets pluged in their ears and forced me to step back from the elevator. i was confused, thinking of another movie they might be doin there but then mr. reagan came thru the main entrance and he saw me pushed away from the elevator. the bodyguard was pretty rude to me but i didn't care. mr. reagan rised his finger to the man and sayd hello to me. i sayd: "i am sorry i am from switzerland. i am tourist and i did not know that i am not alowed to be here" then he came over and sayd: "you are from switzerland? i was there once. a very nice country. why dont you stay here and wait. i will call you up and someone is picking you up later so we can talk a while" i did not beleave what he sayd! mr president takes his time to just talk a bit with me? WOW! well i did not really believe it and i continued to look at the pictures on the wall and a young man, i believe he was a lobby guard told me the whole story how it was when they made the movie. after about 20 minutes i just wanted to leave cause i did not really believe the thing with mr. reagan. i was just walked outside when a man with a nice suit ran after me and told me to come back. mr. reagan is now ready to see me. believe me my knees where shakin and weaky! whe went back to the elevator and i dont remember which floor it was but after 10 minutes i was in mr. reagans office with himself and 2 bodyguards. we talked about a lot things. unfortunately i dont remember what it was to long ago. but i still have his original autograph and one ot the bodyguards made 5 minutes of videotape. at this time i have had no fotocamera, just ma videocamera. i still have this tape and i proudly present it to my friends everytimes they visit me. usually when i tell someone about the story they say: blah blah! calm down! why should mr. reagan do this? he was president nd is not interested to talk to a "normal" person.... then i show the video and the say nothing more.

well that is my story.
love and peace from switzerland
