There are threads like that all over the DU(h)...saw another where they actually HOPE that the economy is in bad shape and they are asking ALL demonRATS to hold off on major purchases in order to send the economy back into a tail spin...those people are truly sickening. That reminds me of an incident a little over a year ago(pre-sept 11).

I had what I thought was a good friend.

I knew she was a Democrat,I never made much of it,she knew I was a Republican but we got along ok and we talked quite a bit and sometimes I & my wife and her and her hubby would go out to dinner.

Well Anyway I ran into her and she right away starts talking about politics and all the people who were losing there jobs and there 401ks,And I noticed that while she was saying it she had a big smile on her face & she went on to say that the democrats were going to take over congress in the next election & Bush was going to be a 1 termer like his daddy...

The digs on W didint bother me much,I dont expect Democrats to like President Bush but it bothered me that she would be sick enough to wish our nations economy to fall & for people to lose there jobs & retirement savings just so the democrats could take over(after that I started referring democrats as Rats).

I told her I didint see anything funny about people losing there jobs & life savings,I added not to bother contacting me or my wife again.
Nomatter who`s in charge dem or pubbie, I still wish people well & our nation well,I`m not so twisted as to take joy in people losing there livelyhoods just for some political gain.
