Obama to revamp America's energy policy...Why?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20100602/...lsc3BpbGxzaA--
There is an amazing ability within the Obama Administration to take any calamity that befalls the United States of America and turn it into an opportunity to expand the borders of the Central Government. This time Obama is trying to nationalize the oil industry, using the oil-well leak in the Gulf of Mexico as the catalyst of his charge. Obama wants now to create supposedly greener and cleaner alternative fuel sources for America, and states that it can only be done with the involvement of America's private sector. The greatest problem with Obama's reasoning here is that if there was a viable solution to fossil fuels, which have fueled capitalism and industry in this country since the turn of the 20th century, the market would have driven towards that solution already.
The simple fact, that businesses have not found a cheap, viable alternative to fossil fuels demonstrates the failure of these proposed alternative sources of energy. Their shortcomings make it all but impossible to implement such sources of energy in an effective and efficient manner. Nevertheless, Obama continues to march his arrogant path trying to redefine this nation as a global community. This can be seen in his desire to gain more control over America's energy industry, and force us to accept regulations inspired by global environmental efforts concerning the reduction of Green House gas emissions.
He wants to do all of this while our economy is in tatters, and our national identity is in crisis, and Obama doesn't seem to care for any part of it. The only thing that this man cares about is increasing his own power, and making himself part of a new global elite which will rule over America and her citizens. It's frustrating to think that these individuals are at the helm of our country. What's worse is that Obama calls this oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico a danger to national security. He further stresses that America's dependence on fossil fuels is a danger to our National Security.
Yet he fails to claim that we are still at war with those individuals who struck so deep at the hearts of every American on September 11, 2001. Terrorists and their ilk who resort to such measures, are still a great threat to this country. Still, Obama fails to recognize the great weight of this danger. Instead he would rather create a dictatorship with himself as the sculpture of model leadership.
Another interesting point that the Obama Administration fails to consider, is that while claiming that America's dependence on Fossil Fuels is a danger to National Security, he enthusiastically fails to address the greater threat to National Security looming at our National Borders. Rather he and his administration would prefer to chastise the State of Arizona, who in complete frustration has moved to address the Federal Government's failure to act upon federal law, and secure their respective border.
It is absolutely stunning that this Administration can create droves of new federal laws when it fails to enforce the federal laws which are already on the books. The last thing this nation needs in this time of economic crisis, and facing an invasion by illegal aliens and drug dealers on our Southern Border, is a bigger inefficient National Government that threatens to swallow the individual liberties of every citizen dwelling within the confines of the United States.
The Obama administration has no problem with this as they view the American People as cogs in a machine which will propel them to their new elitist global society. This is a society that most Americans have no desire to be a part of, and I for one will never settle for it. It is completely demoralizing, that the Federal Government can threaten to punish a sovereign state, for attempting to complete the job that the Federal Government is tasked to do, yet refuses to do, that being to protect our national sovereignty. Worse yet our media tells us that we are wrong to desire such protections.
The greatest failure of the American Media is its unwillingness to call Obama what he really is, a globalist and a liar. I can only hope that the tides shall turn in our favor this November, for I fear for our National Identity.

"I will continue to make the case for a clean energy future wherever and whenever I can. I will work with anyone to get this done. And we will get it done," he said to applause.
I would like Mr. Obama to first justify his case and call for change to "clean energy" with scientific facts, and not Al Gore non-logic and Greenie alarmist claims.

The B.S. of Obama using the BP blowout for his case/call.
1) Coal was not involved in the BP Gulf spill.
2) What natural gas did come from the blowout did no harm.
3) If Oil companies had been allowed to drill in shallower waters or in Alaska, BP would likely not have been drilling in mile deep ocean water.
4) Fossil fuels are not inherently unclean. Yes oil does make a mess, but it is not unclean in Mr. Obama's context.
5) For the most part burning of fossil fuels produce Carbon Dioxide which is not poisonous, it is Carbon Monoxide that is deadly to humans and animals.
6) Carbon Dioxide has a very minor Green House Gas effect, water vapor has the most significant effect.
7) As CO2 levels are increased, CO2 has a reverse logarithmic effect as a Green House gas due to CO2 saturation of already absorbed Infrared light.
7) Global Warming is a unproven theory at best, and in no way justifies Cap-n-Tax.

My 2 cents on why alternative energy sources:
The best reason I have ever seen for moving away from fossil fuels thus far is to - Stop providing the "Religion of Peacers" a source of money to use in their physical and ideological war against us. The only reason for us to go "Green" is to take the "Green" out of their war chests.
