Thumbs up Leading...

Mitt Romney leads Obama in first Gallup national tracking poll

By Jonathan Easley / 04-16-12

Mitt Romney leads President Obama in the first Gallup national daily tracking poll.

Romney took 47 percent support from surveyed registered voters, while Obama took 45 in a poll conducted between April 11 and April 15. Romney's edge, though, is within the poll's three-point margin of error...

...a good start - I am rooting for a running mate who will support and further the cause: we need to send President Obama back to the golf course - permanently..!!

These polls will continue to go back and forth. It will come down to the state of the economy in October. And whether or not Mr. Paul decides to run...

The current polls are meaningless. Back in 1980, Carter was ahead of Reagan by double digits. And, we know how that turned out.

Except for each candidate's internal polls, I really wouldn't pay much attention to the polls until starting in September. Until then, they are going to be bouncing all over the place.

...we all know there's a long way to go.

However, I'm encouraged that any GOP'er would be ahead of a sitting POTUS at this point in the race.

Bozobama is in trouble; he's already begun flailing about. I fully expect something "big" surrounding the 'rat convention (new running mate ?) and an "October surprise" before the election.

I also expect him to be unemployed by January 20, 2013...
