Exclamation WMD's ?!

US concerned as Syria moves chemical stockpile

7-13-2012 Fox News / The Wall Street Journal

Syria has begun moving parts of its vast arsenal of chemical weapons out ofstorage facilities, U.S. officials said, in a development that has alarmed manyin Washington, The Wall Street Journal reports.

The country's undeclared stockpiles of sarin nerve agent, mustard gas and cyanide have long worried U.S. officials and their allies in the region, whohave watched anxiously amid the conflict in Syria for any change in the statusor location of the weapons...

Wow - Syria’s WMD’s are suddenly mentioned in the news?!

How did the Syrian's acquire all of this stuff?

Remember the WMD's that didn't exist (couldn't be found) in Iraq??

I found these two articles from earlier (February) this year:

Here We Go Again: WMD's in Syria?

It was, once upon a time in the Middle East, conjectured, that the weapons that Saddam Hussein allegedly had, that prompted the U.S. to invade Iraq, a-la- “Bush Lied, Liberals Cried,”had been moved surreptitiously into Assad's Syria, a staunch ally of Saddam Hussein...

and

Saddams WMD's in Syria

Remember when it was reported that the reason that there were few WMDs found in Iraq was that Saddam had them moved to Syria?

... Syria is believed to have mustard gas and sophisticated nerve agents, such as sarin gas, as well as biological weapons.Syria has also refused IAEA requests to make available facilities that werepart of its nuclear weapons program and may still be in operation.

Nah. Couldn’t be. Bush lied, people died, right?
