This is what is depressing.

I'm sure you guys have heard it over and over again.

What bothers me is the lack of civillity that is gaining in this country. What I mean is that I was listening to the Reagan-Carter, Mondale-Regan debates. I am shocked to see how far debate has fallen in this country.

Back in '80-'84, at least Carter and Mondale (whom I don't agree with) we well able to articulate their points and you could understand their flow of conversation and mindset. I don't know if this is intentional or not on the part of Obama, but he looks like a stuttering moron in contrast with those two. (He might be wanting to deliberately diffuse and distract but on more levels, but I somehow doubt that.) If he passed the articulation test with flying colors I just am flabbergasted. Even with W, (whom a lot of the left excoriate as being stupid) is a much better speaker than Obama. I suppose Socialism degenerates more than one facet of society.

I haven't lost faith in people, just amazed at what passes for debates nowadays on TV. At least the journalists back then allowed the person to speak and they repeated the question. The only time they interrupted was when time was up.

CNN debate moderator becomes to the media what the Tet Offensive was to Vietnam: Did she elect Mitt Romney?

She got it wrong.
She interfered.
She took a side.
Candy Crowley may finally have done something else as well: so visibly tipping the scales of media bias that the end result makes Mitt Romney the next president.
Taken all together, CNN's Candy Crowley, in her zeal to intrude on the presidential debate and save President Obama from himself, may just have provided the televised moment that finally sparks a revolt against the four years of fawning coverage of President Obama.
Becoming to the liberal media what the Tet Offensive was to Lyndon Johnson and the Vietnam War.

For four years the mainstream media has done everything in its power to portray Barack Obama as the Second Coming, the messiah, or, in the immortal words of one-time Newsweek honcho Evan Thomas, "God." Chris Matthews described thrills down his leg. Katie Couric purred in a sycophantic Obama interview with hard hitting questions like this:

You're so confident Mr. President, and so focused. Is your confidence ever shaken? Do you ever wake up and say "damn, this is hard"?

Tuesday night Candy Crowley became the latest -- and perhaps the most important -- example of what Fox's Bernard Goldberg called in his book title A Slobbering Love Affair: The True (And Pathetic) Story of the Torrid Romance Between Barack Obama and the Mainstream Media...

...The idea that the liberal media is deliberately trying to fix the 2012 election for Obama is now rampant, spreading across America faster than the flu in February.

And sitting at that debate moderator's desk in such a highly visible moment in American history, Candy Crowley's action in putting her thumb on the scale with the lights and cameras on and running in front of millions -- may finally have been something wildly unintended.

The tipping point for the liberal media.

A tipping point that makes Mitt Romney the 45th President of the United States.

Methinks J. Lord has nailed it. As the culmination to 4+ years of fawning media adoration for the Once and Former One, on a national stage and forum designated to allow the voter to make a comparative choice, at a time when reasonable folk are disgusted at a media that not only won't do its job but has become a dissiminator of WH propaganda and demonizer of Barry's detracters, with real-time foreign and domestic conditions far different from the Obama-coated swill being spooned out by journalists who ain't... Crowley does her bit for Barry and it's the final straw for a fed up America.

Yep, I'll buy it.

Nailed it he has indeed. crowley's level of professionalism was about as high as a snake's stomach. She did indeed let the country know of her personal love for our current empty suit. How anyone could still harbor that kind of admiration after all he's done shows how uninformed the left is. They care less about the welfare of this country and more about their monthly welfare check.
