Have any of you watched episodes of Rachel Maddow or Ed Schultz on MSNBC? Every now and then, I find it prudent to take a look at what the other side is doing. Last night, Ed Schultz had a theologian from U-Penn on the air who said that there is "no evidence that homosexuality is against God's views" and that "church members need to weed out the narrow-minded bigots who preach this stuff (that homosexuality is a sin)".
On Rachael Maddow, she has a psychiatrist on who tried to claim that the Christian belief in being 're-born' is a sign of mental illness and is attributed to a shrinking cerebellum.
I wish I could make up this stuff but I can't and I am finding it to be very frightening how the 'enlightened' members of our society can find it so easy to throw out logic and science. Even more frightening is how they can easily make people believe that Christian teachings, based on Judaism, are completely phoney and that anyone who believes in it is mentally ill.

But does anyone of consequence actually believe their crap? Or is the same mindless reality show 'entertainment' that some occupy time with? (Pun intended.)
I agree that the sickos' intent is to turn people against religion and decency, but I wonder if those who watch that garbage forget it five minutes after turning off the TV.

Maybe, after all, liberals don't believe in God but they sure as heck believe in little green men and men in black at Roswell.

The fun part is that Obama and the Dems will most likely keep their convention in NC with the idea that it will help them win the state. However, 48,000 voters were dropped from the voter rolls this year. 80% of them were Democrats. Obama won NC in 2008 by only 14000 votes.
|
I think the braintrust would like nothing better then to move that convention, but are afraid the negatives of doing so may be worse than keeping it there. Just love to the Dems caught in a Catch 22. They'll lose NC.

...this whole dysfunctional Bozobama campaign is thus far, so reminiscent of Carter's '80 disaster that it's spooky.
Other than having a primary opponent, it's uncanny.
We all knew going in to '08, it was a 'rat year; no matter who they nominated, no matter who we nominated. Sensing victory-they took a flyer on the most liberal option available.
Payback time is here; case in point-North Carolina. I'll never forget NBC's newsreader Brian Williams solemnly advising "it's 2008 and Barack Obama is proving that this is not your fathers' North Carolina by effectively putting this former GOP stronghold in play".
Fair enough, Brian. Your candidate won in '08.
But-it's 2012, and it's not going to be "Barack Obama's North Carolina" anymore. Governor Perdue is toast, their convention will be a mess and one time up-and-comer John Edwards is as much the symbol of the 'rat party in NC as anyone else.

Payback time indeed, and it's going to be fun and sweet.

Aw gee, you mean it's really not gonna make a difference? You know, Holder counseling all those black preachers on how to push for Barry's reelection from the pulpit without losing their churches' tax-exempt status? (No discussion of homosexuality of course.) And what if that 'occupy' scum show up and trash the convention? Talk about irony.

1) As for a dysfunctional campaign - after today's announcement on "job numbers" (even Nancy Pelosi was disappointed!) - you just wait what the campaign strategy will be now? It will be vicious and it will be all about class warfare...
2) Stay clear of Charlotte NC during the first week of September, folks...
3) And - come election day - watch out for voter intimidation (!) for the alive voters and voter fraud (!) for the dead ones...

As Rush said about those dismal job numbers, why is anyone surprised? This is how the regime and media play the game. Every period, those previously reported rosy employment numbers are revised down. They can only go so far with this 'oh look at the great numbers, the recovery is healthy and Obama's plan is working' when people are living it and seeing the diametric opposite of what they are being told.
Barry's media-supported 'goodnews' scam is collapsing under reality.
