Desperate Saddam Lackey Pleas For Jihad Bailout

Shortly before Tuesday's show kicked off, the media was all atwitter reporting that "the president is going to address the nation!"

The "president" they referred to was Saddam Hussein, and the nation was Iraq.

Finally the big moment came...and it was not Saddam at all!

It was some information ministry lackey reading a statement he claimed was from Saddam.

It was the most absurd thing ever.

Leading up to the "speech," the press talked about how it proved the "failure" of the Pentagon to kill Saddam.

Even after Saddam didn't show up, the press acted as if he'd spoken!

I rolled you audio of CNN's Nic Robertson claiming that Saddam hadn't used the term jihad before.

I could read you a piece of paper from Millard Fillmore; that wouldn't prove he's alive at 200 years old, would it?

How can CNN possibly quote "Saddam" as saying these things in their banners when they haven't seen him?

I have hesitated to say so before, but there is just no way he wouldn't take the simple steps needed to prove he's still alive, if he were alive.

This "speech" appeared to be a desperate call to worldwide terrorists to show up in Iraq and help.

It was clearly designed to inspire these suicide bombers from the region to come to Iraq where our forces are dispatching martyrdom for all.

Let's wipe them all out in one place, instead of picking through 50 countries for them or picking up the pieces of an attack at home.
