Dear Friend,
Finally! The Partial Birth Abortion Ban is one vote away from the President's
signature!
With Senate passage already under its belt, http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d108:SN3:
the Partial Birth Abortion ban
(H.R. 760) has one last stop in the House of Representatives before this
life-saving ban is signed into law.The vote is expected to come as early as the week before Mother's Day (May 5-9).The Partial Birth Abortion Ban will end a gruesome procedure that is harmful to
both women and unborn children.
This method is performed on pre-born babies
beginning at the fifth month of development. The abortionist begins by dilating the woman's cervix for two days. Then, on the third day, he uses forceps to deliver the entire baby except for the head. At this point, the abortionist uses
blunt surgical scissors to stab the baby at the base of the skull. He then
inserts a vacuum tube and sucks the child's brains out. Then he can collapse the
skull and pull the dead baby through the cervical opening. Who would have
thought that a ban on such a harmful procedure as partial-birth abortion would
have taken nearly a decade to enact into law?

Thanks to the determined efforts of Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pennsylvania ), Rep.
Steve Chabot (R-Ohio), and CWA members like you, we are nearly there! However,
we must remain vigilant until this vital legislation is signed into law.WE NEED YOU!Please contact your representative and urge him or her to vote ''yes'' on the
Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003 (H.R. 760). You can call the Capitol
Switchboard (202) 225-3121 or simply go to http://congress.cwfa.org/cwfa/issues...lertid=1975031 to send an e-mail.Sincerely,Sandy Rios
