Washington, DC-The Republican National Committee is encouraging people to watch documentaries about former President Ronald Reagan and his presidency instead of Showtime’s airing of the controversial program ‘The Reagans’ on November 30.

“Press reports and CBS’s decision suggest this program is not historically accurate and does not present a fair or balanced view of the Reagan presidency.

I want to encourage those who want to know the truth about Ronald Reagan to turn off Showtime, turn on the VCR and view the Real Reagan on November 30,” said Gillespie.


“Ronald Reagan’s great contribution to American history deserves to be understood. This is an excellent opportunity to reacquaint Americans with the accomplishments of a great American President,” Gillespie said.
