Am I losing my mind, or didn't the Finman's member # used to be #3? Am I nuts? I swear it said #3, not #395.
Help me out here.....(I actually look at who I am responding to nowadays, so that is why I am sure I remember the Finman's number being 3????

[QB]I despise abortion and wish to God that one fine day we can see and end to this practice, but I think so long as God’s gift of Freewill remains in our possession there will always be some that practice the unspeakable.

With that said, abortion is never going to go away. Before it was made de facto law females still found ways to terminate the life within them and even if it is outlawed females will still find ways to terminate that life within them.

Rather than focus all my efforts and energies on the stopping an act that can only be stopped by the person committed to follow through on ending the life within them, I choose to focus a great deal of my energies on stopping that life from being created in the first place.

Dutch,
I understand what you are saying ,and you are right Abortion will not go away even if it is made illegal to have one. But neither has murder gone away or theft or rape because it has been made illegal. The thing is these people all parties involved need to pay the consequences of their actions. And while we do nothing to stop this heinous act of taking away an innocent human life..That action goes unpaid.

Agreed.

I believe we should continue our efforts on showing how abortion is not a very good choice, but at the same time I would like to see the same disgust and outrage pointed at those who think nothing of creating ‘unnecessary” life they have no intention of nurturing.

Given the horrors of AIDS that we have had to listen to for 20 years now, and coupled with the bizarre STDs that are out there; it boggles the mind that are some out there who never utter a single word about abstinence or using contraception yet will goosestep and holler about keeping a right to choose.
