Angry

This just angers me. It further illustrates that the "pro choice" movement is not about the freedom of choice but about the freedom from responsibility. Conception is recognized as the beginning of a new unique life, but they are overlooking that and have switched the focus to implantation. That makes the "morning after pill" an abortifacient...which will apparently be sitting right next to the bottles of aspirin in your local store from now on.

What a shame.

Now killing your baby just became easier and even more convenient than before.

Anyone who wants to show a Democrat up for what he really is should ask him or her about their stand on parental notification. They are so far out in la la land that they will say that parents should not be told that their young daughter wants to have an abortion, can you imagine what it's going to be like with the morning-after pill?? My goodness, they are so detached from morality and common sense.

The biggest problem I have with this issue is the idea that a powerful medication will be sold over-the-counter. I think the risks are way to great not to have physician input.

(I think there is a big moral difference between preventing implantation of a fertilized egg cell and actually aborting a developing fetus.)

This is a really terrible development for America, but good for teenage boys and girls who want their developing babies to be killed without facing the consequences of what they've done.

Guardian Angel-there are a few ambiguities on the issue, but once we give an inch planned parenthood takes a mile. Human beings cannot help but produce other human beings when an egg is fertilized. If the fertilized egg fails naturally to implant, that is God's will and it is His authority alone that can justify that action. If human action prevents implantation, man begins to covet what is not his.

Then why does society condemn suicide? I get sick of this idiotic argument that it's my body, and the government should stay out of it. Then why do we regulate drug use? I should be able to inject heroin STRAIGHT into my eyeball anytime I want, right? It's my body, isn't it?

Abortion, in my opinion, should be allowed in extreme situations (rape, possible loss of the mother's life, etc.), but this abortion for convinience crap has got to stop. What's that old saying? Don't do the crime if you can't do the time? Isn't that it?

Yes, and we all know God supports killing unborn babies.

One of the legitimate functions of government, and something on which all of us can agree, is to protect human lives. Why should unborn babies not be part of this protection? This is like saying the choice of whether or not I kill my grandma is between me and God. Doesn't make sense Corey.
