Hatred and snide comments? What is the last sentence. I was mildly annoyed by the rest of the statements posted but I remember reading how America was a hell etc. ringing through a good number of his posts. Its always interesting how the left accuses everyone of what they do. Appearantly snide comments and hatred for Bush and Republicans is accomplishing something in America? That coupled with perverting the issues and they think this is positive? Next maybe make a movie?

Actually in a lot of states, gay marriage was voted against in a 70-80%. I guess in a liberal stronghold like CA, it was like 70-30% against it. So, I guess the gay marriage thing isn't so widely accepted as you think. Perhaps if they went on the bend of providing a cost-benefit of changing the definition of marriage, instead of just screeching about how they deserve it, they would probably go a lot further. Also, marriage is a social insitution, not a constitutional right. You folks make that fallacy that it is a right. If gay people want something like a marriage (of which it isn't by definition) they are more than welcome to come up with their own term of which they have refused.

Also, the intolerant left is quite fitting considering that you can't tolerate the popular vote on a social institution and must force people to follow your morality of which you accuse conservatives of doing. I've noticed that people from many backgrounds do not support it. That means for some liberals as well. But hey, stereotyping is bad unless it's done by the left.

As for immigrants, we have no problems with them. I think you confuse them with ILLEGAL immigrants. Again, with the stereotyping. But hey, throwing Oreos at a black Republican is all right because he's one of the enemy, not of your plantation/belief system of Marxism. Never mind that that's a racial slur.

Again,ignoring this pesky little thing called fact. Pathetic. No wonder why Coulter gets your goat.

Let me ask you something that River brought up in another thread. If you think the left is so great, then how is it that it is all right to teach very young children sex education? How is endorsing Islam in schools above all other religions is all right, when an atheist in a court case eliminated "In God We Trust" in public instituions? Either you allow all to practice freely or you don't allow it at all. Seems to me not only are you folks intolerant, but you seem to suffer from situational ethics.

Well, up until very recently there has only been ONE point of view consistently represented in the public arena and that is the Leftist view. Since that view consists mostly of fluffy, empty calorie ideas it really can't stand close scrutiny or real intellectual analysis. Hence the personal polemic that has become the hallmark of the left.

Forced to compete in the arena of ideas, and coming up so sadly lacking, your solution is to censor the opposition. Throw ugly labels on them like 'rascist, sexist, homophobe, nazi, and fascist' so that their point of view can be automatically discounted. Train people via the schools and the media to automatically shut off their intellectual faculties at the drop of one of these labels.

The Left has trained themselves to respond this way like Pavlov's dogs salivated when the bell rang. The hilarious truth is that, thanks to talk radio, Fox News and the blogosphere, the conservative (in other words, the majority) view point has been able to burn through your jamming and is finally being heard.

Your response to your losing the stranglehold on thought and speech is to simply yell louder and call us uglier names.
