Ted might be a republican, but he is a faux conservative. He is pro abortion and joins the ranks of people that have abandoned the constitution (that protects all Americans,or is supposed to) in order to be pc.Until we protect our base beliefs, people like him will slowy destroy truth, which I believe conservatism is all about. I won't accept any so called republican simply because they might be so right on one or two issues. Respect for all life must take precedence above all else.

Ted Nugent is one of the least PC people I have ever heard. I don't understand what you mean?
I'm not interested in defending him, but I'm not looking to condem him either.

As far as I'm concerned , anyone who would abandon thier own common sense and accept lies about abortion can only be doing so for two reasons, either they're very stupid people (which Ted is not) or they are trying to appease someone else (pc). I had admired Ted for awhile and then found out he just another faux conserv. I don't mind him being republican, that party has left behind conservatism, but I'll not let his praises be sang without the whole truth being told.

Youre right about Ted being very intelligent I met him and was quite surprised at how well spoken he is and to a big extent I do believe that the Republican party has left Conservatism behind But...
for now I choose to remain a Republican because
1. I don't want a DEMONc RAT elected president
2.it is the party that is the most close to what I believe in

Kate where is your proof that Nugent is pro-abortion?If true,it would sicken me that someone supposedly so much for constitutional rights would be against the most important right of all(LIFE)without it you cannot have any other right.

I'll re-phrase.
You saying it doesn't make it so.
Where are his words bearing out what you are saying. It's only fair and honest to give the quotes and links if you are going to have the whole truth about anyone told.
And before you mark me down as one on the masses, I have never been a fan of Ted Nugent, I happen to agree with SOME of his views but not ALL of them.

I would love to find something in print that proves I'm not fabricating this about his stand on abortion, but I looked all over the web and could only find his opinion on other issues. Where I heard this was on a television special on his life and his political views (from his own lips), I watched it because at that time I really admired him. No you don't have to believe me, but since this area is dedicated to him, I would think all his political views would be known here. But since he may run for an elected office, his stance will be known soon enough and, I hope, destroys the facade. I might be coming off somewhat rigid but I'm really tired of the conservatives compromising core positions, we're compromising ourselves out of the America our forefathers tried to ensure us. (And by the way, just because I say he's pro abortion doesn't make it not so either)
