........for organizing this once-in-a-lifetime gathering of sports legends - A Houston Salute, the opening ceremony of Super Bowl XXXVIII. What a flood of memories seeing legends of the gridiron, hardwood, diamond, & more, all on one stage - many of these greats I idolized, growing up in Houston in the 60's & 70's. Great to see former President Bush, too, as he served as co-host with Nantz. Such a wonderful night!
Look for future Super Bowl salutes in host cities, as Mr. Nantz has started a great tradition that will be followed for years to come.
