Hey, I just read that Roger Clemens won his 327th career game with seven strong innings!

It's good to see you guys kept pace in the NL wild-card race by your 7-5 victory over the St. Louis the other night.

Wink

Yeah, this run has been a lot of fun, Melissa - the Cards kinda dampened our spirits somewhat with their victory last night. Tonight's a MUST win...........aren't they all?

Roger's been everything as advertised & then some - my pick for Cy Young winner.

We could use Deer Park Andy right about now - here's hoping for a full recovery from his surgery.

The Astros #1 priority should be locking up Beltran for the long term - he's a game changer on offense & defense.

Since Tino doesn't play for the Cards anymore they can burn in heck tonight. I hope you guys wipe the mound with them. Have you been to any games lately?

Thumbs up

I try to go to 1 game during each homestand - the Brewers will be in town this weekend. The Astros then travel to San Fran. for a 3 game series. Houston's 2 games back of the Giants in the wild card race going into today's games.

GREAT game tonight against the Brewers - 2-1 win for Houston, with Oswalt getting his 18th win. Heck of a pitching duel with Oswalt against Ben Sheets. The Astros must sweep & then head to San Francisco for the most important series of the year.
