I have two dogs and a parrot. One of the dogs probably thinks the bird would taste just like chicken, so it's a challenge keeping them apart.

No pets at home, however, we have 4 stray cats we've adopted at work. We've even had them fixed.

Two cats, Jack and Toby. Sometimes I think we're actually the pets and they're running the show....

Currently have two pets.
One is a cat I inherited after my mom passed away. She went a little nuts after my mom died- stopped eating, started acting really neurotic. She managed to escape from my house while I was dragging in groceries and was gone for almost 3 months. One day out of the blue she showed back up- but not at my house- at my mom's house 4 miles away. Wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it for myself.
I also have a little Sheltie that I'm training for companion dog certification and plan to volunteer in nursing homes and compete in obedience trials. She's one incredible little dog.

My father in-law has an african grey parrot named tuffy and he bites and talks pretty good, says my mother in-laws name, and my wifes name, hello(when the phone rings)wolf whistles, and does part of the flight of the bumblebee. And if tuffy ever bites me I'll find out if he tastyes like chicken(and I'll let everyone know)
callmeqtie,5 dogs! holy smokes, sounds like my mom and dad they have a bunch of dogs they live in the northern part of the state where no one really cares how many animals you have. The Iguana sounds cool,I see one at the pet store we go to to buy our food at,they let it stand on their shoulders.
Conservative Carol, that is so strange that the cat found its way back to your mothers house,I've heard other strange stories similar
does anyone have any humorous or sssccarrry!stories about their animals? My sons ball python has bitten us 3 times, every time it was our fault, once my son reached in the tank with his hand smelling like mouse and put it in upside down(different from what the snake was use to)and it bit him, painless and quick, than it bit me when I reached into its feeding cage when a mouse was already in there, and bit me again when I thought my hand was further away than it was and I tried to imitate a mouse crawling over the log in their tank and he reached out and barely nudged my finger.
