I believe that many liberals and Democrats forget this:

The Soldier

It is the soldier, not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the soldier, not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the campus organizer,
who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.
It is the soldier, not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the soldier,
who salutes the flag,
who serves under the flag,
and whose coffin is draped by the flag,
who allows the protester to burn the flag.

I read your other post as well - it's what's bothers me the most - there is no understanding (or lack of comprehension!?) among Liberals that peace is only possible through a strong military to defend us no matter what...
Don't they (all of those "end the war now" protesters) understand that it's not us who are the agressors...it's the radical Jihadist's that will not rest before all Americans ( and Jews) are wiped off the face of the earth - and I think they are dead serious. Are we supposed to wave a white flag and release a peace dove...???
Wouldn't we all love world peace if it was possible... dream on all of you idealists - face the real world!

Your question is so common yet so warranted, I really believe liberals climb up on the pedestal, somewhere in there feeble little minds they feel they can negotiate better than the right or anyone else for that matter, they flatter themselves, all the while it does not occur to them that they are a part of the Americans so many around the world want to attack and kill, they think our enemies just want to kill the right, kind of like a towel head not knowing the differance between a seabee and marine, (see uli derickson story) a common problem among our enemy of today.

War made the United States and then we became a Democracy for the people, kind of like WE THE PEOPLE stuff without Liberals trying to change things for their control…the Military is protecting the United States from Terror but Liberals are so SELF-CENTERED they forget our Military is ALL VOLUNTEER HEROES!
