With hope comes things like prayer, things like being satisified with a job well done, having the ability to wade through the mud to get to the truth.
With change comes spin. Change sais we are not safer today than we were prior to 9/11, not only is comments like that laughable they are just offensive.
With change comes debauchery, and the wholesale murder of the unborn.
With change comes the wholesale gouging of our wallets, Ted Kennedy wouldn't be able to cherry pick his Duke Doc anymore. No preferential treatment in socialized meds. With change comes Barack Hussien Obama, and people better get their heads out of the dirt. They do not want this man with a left lead legislative branch of govt running the most powerfull country on the planet. You talk about a prelude to world war, THERE IT IS.
McCain better be ready to play hardball and not be the wuss of the past.

Im with political boy all the way on this.
But i would like to add. As usual. Change is the word used in every election since the beginning of time. It means increase government and make things worse. It mostly works on liberals because their version of "hope" trumps reality and works like a memory block.
Now the "audacity of hope". Two meanings here. First is ignore reality and "hope" it will be better this time. Second is the hope a politician feels. I hope they dont pay attention to what the other side of my mouth is saying.
I hate to seem pessimistic but the reality is history repeats itsself. Even Jefferson discussed this as an inherant problem with people. Every so often their must be revolution. Our constitution was even written with this in mind.
There are waves in life you sometimes just have to ride. Every one hundred years (3 generation rule) things get loose people get lazy and it sets up a big societal correction. Roaring 20s brought the great depression and that brought the greatest generation for example.
the lazy and immoral will always gain power because its the instant gratification route. I mean how stupid simple and lazy do you have to be to be attracted to a slogan stolen from Builder Bobs kids show. "yes we can."
So my vote is with same old story. On my third generation rule I see FDR. Not good.

My vote was the last option, because with an Obama Presidency, all you can really hope for is that the gov't doesn't take the Change on top of your cash...
Got to fund those welfare baby factories....

This is not lost yet, not by any stretch. There are things that are going to happen between now and Nov. more gaffes no doubt from the Obama camp. Also at this stage 4 years ago Kerrys lead on GWB was identical to the narrow margin Obama enjoys today.
Come election day I think we have a better than even shot. Although tommorrow I may be pessimistic this time out is driving me mad. There is so much at stake, Americans had better be smart.

When I worked for the RNC in 04 our polling data was opposite of the msm.
But not to be pessimistic. A vote for McCAin is like letting the germans win at Normandy. He will sell out the party every time he gets to a microphone. A clear example of this is his last comment about limiting the pay of CEOs. Its like admitting the democrats are right.
Im torn. In the course of human events I see collapse as inevitable and necessary. Even Thomas Jefferson said it. We see mini revolutions all the time. FDRs follies created the greatest generation Carter brought Reagan, Clinton brought Bush.
The scariest thing about a McCain win is it gives the democrats more ammo in their propoganda war if things get worse and they will with this market correction. And if McCain does any of the socialist bull it will get even worse. Again more blame on Republican ideas.

Ha! I don't think I can stand another three months of this chicanery! I am hoping for a change - less Obama and more freedom!

I put down neither because I am tired of him telling me America needs to change.
Sure, America changes, but I'd rather not have him telling me how to change. I will change myself if need be.
End of story.
