According to McCain my choices are-
Vote for a democrat.
or
Vote for the guy who says the democrats were right all along.

Its a strategy that makes no sense. Its like becoming a pow instead of putting up a fight. Now how can any republican put up a fight against the global warming nonsense. When communism is implemented slowly people dont notice. the next generation is born into what is there so they dont know any other way. Take what everyone has abruptly and viola everyones mad.

I am not in disagreement with some of what you say. My point is this these are the choices we have, we must see them for what they are and act accordingly. A third party candidate does not have a prayer, anyother hypothesis at this stage of the game is just not feasible and will assist the socialist party. I cannot morally go there. My inner self will not allow that. I look at the Democratic party as a cancer. I do not really think McCain is the medicine we need, however I know Obama is the speading of said cancer. He is something we as a people cannot sit idly by and do nothing about. If he is to win, let the man swim upstream to do it. Lets not give him a boat with a motor on it. While McCain is not the best man for the job, he is the best man running that has a half way decent shot to win. Third party candidates do not stand a snow balls chance, we all know this.

Look at the income tax. Most Americans pay it without a second thought. The first generation supported it only to pay war costs. Now we just pay it because its always been there. This is what the McCain effect will be.
Its like communist countries. The first generation fights it but the next 3 generations live with what they are used too.

I think Obama winning will be like throwing people into a cold pool.
McCain will be like slowly turning up the heat until people are cooking and never notice it.

I look at it that way myself, in some aspects, I have to admit. With lung cancer they say you have zero to no chance of survival though. That is how I look at Obama.
