Given BooBooBiden's statement yesterday that Hillary would have been a better choice.... whaddya think - will they make a last-minute switch?

The desperate party
I have not given that much thought. I don't think so, it would be an act of desperation. I would not put anything past that socialistic party though. If he would have selected Hillary, Palin would not have been selected. Alot in the media would get after Obama. The right would feast on the move. Some leftist media members would not like it either.
We all thought Rudy was joking at the RNC when he said Boo Boo should have gotten that VP thing in writing. Now one has to wonder just how prophetic that line was.
I think Osama has asked Hillary to engage Palin to no avail. Probably promising to rid her of her $24,000,000.00 campaign debt. Hillary may have told him the only way I can really get after Palin is from equal standing. You may be onto something here, as unprecedented as it would be. Like I said you just cannot put anything past that band of reprobates.
It would actually be smarter if the DNC dumped Obama and they went with a Biden/Clinton ticket.

Well, part of the reason I've begun speculating on this is because a friend of mine recently had a conversation with a friend of hers (different circles) who predicted that Palin would drop out of the race within the next couple of weeks due to "family issues." I told my friend there was no way that was going to happen, but that I certainly could see something like it happening on the left side of the aisle. I made that statement to her the day before Biden said he thought Hillary would have been a better choice. That REALLY piqued my curiosity about the scenario, since it would seem much more plausible for Biden to have some sort of "emergency" or something that would cause him to drop out, thus allowing Hillary to come in at the last minute and "save the day" for the libs.
Things that make you go, "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...."

If they switched I don't think they would have as much support from independents or conservative Reagan Dems because it would go to Obambi's judgment. Switches haven't worked well for Dems in the past.
This is how it looked the last time they tried it.

This is a perplexing scenario, realistic or not. The situation just does not arise. I myself have no idea as to the protocol that would have to happen for that door to even open. Conventions do more than throw red meat at the crowd. They conduct business. They send thier nominees forward with the approval of thier delegates. I would have to do some digging to find out if they can even do anything like this.
Dems have a tendency to make the rules up as they go, so there is really no telling. I'll say since I first read your post this afternoon its really gotten into my head because I have the feeling Osama is spinning his turban over the fact that he didn't ask Hillary in the first place.

Get this: Angus was listening to George Noory last night (as he does every night before he falls asleep), and guess what Noory predicted? Yep. He thinks Biden's gonna drop out! My oh my.....

Funny you ask this! I got my hair highlighted today and the chat in the shop was all politics and one of the gals asked if anyone thought Biden was going to drop out and call it an "emergency" or something serious that would "cause" him to drop out. So obviously the thought is in the backs of people's minds....
Of course we all started speculating if that were the case would Obama still snub Hillary for someone more electable and frankly more well... attractive to compete with Palin, which caused us to laugh even more. Nothing like a bunch of beauty shop cats to tell it like it is!

I have my doubts that Biden will drop out. For one, his pride won't let him. Second, it would create serious doubts about Obama's "judgement".

I would not put it past the Dem's to come up with something if they feel that it benefits them vote-wise!! They've got away with things like "dead Senator on ballott" (Mel Carnahan - remember) - let a Republican try that - the outcry would be heard in Switzerland - including the echo - ha...
But: it would have to be a pretty good excuse...
...let me guess - medical reasons?
I agree, though - how BooBoo's ego would handle that is another story entirely!

Obama doesn't want to hire food tasters. Thats why he didn't choose Hillary.
