I have spent the last few days in quiet reflection and I have come to some conclusions a lot of you are not going to want to hear so if that is the case might I recommend you stop reading now. First of all we need to pray that Obama will be a good president, not just so we can survive his administration but also because the people he is representing the black people of this country have been waiting for a moment like this and they deserve it, and they deserve to not be shamed by him so we need to pray that he will lead with his heart and that he will lead all people, and that he will in fact listen to the people.



That being said, there has been a lot of speculation as to who was the reason we lost, granted McCain was no prize and even those of us who voted for him did so while holding our nose. But the people who lost this election for us are sitting at the computer right now reading this. We were to eager to allow someone else to decide who we would vote for, we would much rather worry about work or the game, or honey what’s on TV??? WE knew early on this was going to be a fight but did we get ready, nope let someone else do that. We cannot win without a leader and we cannot have a leader unless we demand one. We didn’t and see what we got? Most people, the most involved they get is getting up and going to vote and some people do not even do that, if the people are going to take back the party then it has to be at the grassroots level and it has to be you and you and you and me.



We need you to volunteer to be precinct chairperson; we need you to take some responsibility for what we send to the White House. The Republican Party belongs to the big wigs because we the people refuse to take it back and I am asking you today to join me in taking back our party. It does not require an MBA or any undergraduate studies it takes real people, simple people who know the difference between right and wrong, it takes people who are willing to meet the people and find out first hand what their wants and needs are and it does not mean just when you are running for office. We need fighters, we need people who will stand up and be counted and we need them now. The old Republican party died on November 4th it is time to rise from the ashes and create a newer stronger Republican party built by the people for the people and the blue bloods can all just go home your time is up.



This is a call to action; you are being asked what you are willing to do to make the Republican Party the party of the people. Do not say well I just don’t have the time, I have to work, I have to take care of the kids, no more excuses, sorry there is just too much at stake here. It is time to put up or shut up, the 2012 election has started today…
