lol. Finman, I love Charlotte Church, I bought my first cd of her when she first debut, and I thought she was good. Now that she has grown up a bit, she is still going good. Might just go listen to my MDs right now.

I haven't heard Christy Lane recently, but I have records (those big plastic CDs) of her from years ago, and she sounds fine to me. It might just be an effect of aging on the singing voice.
I assume this is re the TV ads that I've seen mentioned elsewhere in an unkindly way, but since I haven't watched TV since the late 80s, I have no idea what passes for trashovision "entertainment" these days, nor have I experienced the ads.

I've never heard of Cristy Lane. But I have heard of Charlotte Church. And I admit she is one h*ll of a singer. Even though I don't go for that type of music.
I go for the harder stuff myself.

Did I ever tell you that I love driving people nuts, especially about some long-forgotten pet peeve or something? I guess that I still have that part of my humor.
