February 18, 2005 -- WASHINGTON — With one eye on her 2008 White House campaign, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton yesterday introduced a wide-ranging election-reform bill that would boost turnout among Democratic voters — and let ex-felons vote.
An estimated 4.7 million Americans are now barred from voting because of their criminal records. The $3.5 billion bill also would turn Election Day into a national holiday and make it harder to purge voters from old registration lists. Here Another brilliant idea from the mind of a liberal

This Clinton initiative to allow felons to vote could very well be an effort to repay the friends and colleagues - e.g. Webb Hubbell - for all they have done to support Bill and Hillary's careers.
I've lost my link to the famous "Clinton Body Count", but I would imagine even that long list is only the tip of a huge iceberg representing a substantial potential voting bloc of criminals with ties to Bubba and Hildabeast. On the other hand, given some of the Clintons' still unresolved "questionable" activities, this attempt to change the law could be seen simply as a way to ensure that an impeached and disbarred president and his wife keep their right to vote. Whatever, I'm against voting rights for felons.
