Has anyone out there had the opportunity to read this book, what a great American with the courage of a lion. The subject matter is somewhat controversal but needed to be said I applaud her for her willingness to let America in on the Jersey 4, and others like these to willing widows. They can call W a dumb *** but let a conservative write something derogatory against the left and they flip out, one publication even calling for her suicide, that is hate. Incidently the title is Liberalism the Godless church. If more conservatives like her stand up and be heard it will help our cause in 08.

I have her new book, I just haven't read it yet. I'll be starting on it tonight.
There is a hilarious column by Leonard Brooks (I think) in today's Omaha paper about what a big meany Coulter is.
As you say, the most odious, grotesque things are said and written about conservatives and these people don't even bat an eye. Let Ann Coulter call a situation as she sees it and they go apoplectic.
By the way, have you noticed that the Leftists don't seem to be arguing with WHAT she said, just the nasty way she said it? What she said is fact. The truth hurts.

Well, they are ALL about style. That's at least the reason they give when they speak about Fox News.

I have to admit, I find Miss Coulter, lovely as she is, a bit acidic for my taste. What she said about those 9/11 widows may be true, but a little poorly stated considering the sensitive nature of their situation.

Two major points, however...(1) these are the same women who, like Cindy Sheehan, have done all they could to keep their faces and names in the news as a cheap anti-war demonstration, effectively villifying the memories of their own dead themselves. This is exactly what Coulter was decrying by her comments.
(2)In re: Miss Coulter herself: This should give you an insight as to exactly how deep her moral fiber truly is. In the TIME magazine interview last year, the interviwer (forgive me, I don't remember his name)asked how she felt about causing so much ill will. She replied...and I'm paraphrasing here...that "these are the people who will stick an ice pick into a fetus' head and leave it to die. You don't WANT such people to like you !" So I must commend her for sticking to her guns, ethically. If something is wrong,no amount of prettying it up makes it right.

...I don't have a big problem with Ann Coulter.
One thing's for sure; you never have to guess where she's coming from on any matter of policy...

Exactly correct Lightnin, acidic as she may appear her moral fiber is indeed through the roof there are no smoke and mirrors with her, as far as Sheehan goes, I must speak from the childs point of view, I am a soldier, or former one to be honest and have never lost a child, but Sheehan is no doubt grieving, it is a difficult subject matter for me, however todays military is voluntary and about 100% Patriotism fueled, that being said she will have to face the brave soul she lost and that is all I have to say about her except please leave my President alone mam.

Well, I was a soldier and I have lost a child. I am not without sympathy. But did you know that Ms. Sheehan lost Casey in a custody battle due to her neglect, AND since, Casey's death, has lost ANOTHER son due to neglect? This is exactly what I mean in both cases. It's not about honoring the death of the loved ones...it's all about "me, me, me" and that's exactly the problem. It seems that the American public is more interested in honoring their brave lost souls than they are.

...as plugged in as I try to stay, I didn't know Sheehan had frittered away her custody rights to not one, but both children.
What a loser...
