| Liberalism Vs. Conservatism (Debate Forum) It isn't that Liberals are ignorant. It's just that they know so much that isn't so. - Ronald Reagan |

Anyhow, I guess this little tiff was bound to happen, given how Clinton specifically faulted them for not ignoring the investigation.

So, has ABC suddenly become a part of the conservative mainstream news media now?

I'm glad Clinton finally let off some steam about this.
Clinton said -- and I agree with him -- that the mainstream media contributed to the national obsession over a trivial matter at the expense of all other issues and events during that period.
It still amazes me that conservatives get all incensed and claim Clinton supposedly didn't pay enough attention to terrorism -- while at the same time they created the distraction that made a sexual indiscretion much more of a national issue than terrorism, the economy and everything else.
And the media was a willing partner to this glorified political withch hunt -- whether you want to label the media liberal, conservative or just shallow and greedy.

I do not give Clinton a pass on anything. Everything in his life has been based on political expediency. He has no core beliefs. All he cares about or ever will care about is himself. Until life after the presidency, he had never paid a dime of rent in his life. He always lived off either friends or the state. Any time he got into trouble, he could always rely on that little boy lip quiver, which liberals always fall for. He is a soulless, using, pathetic individual. I detest him. And as much as I detest Peter Jennings, he is dead on the money here. Clinton's real self almost came out. If I were Jennings, I'd watch my back from here on out.

And a voice was screaming: \"Holy Jesus! What are these animals?\"

 This is the problem you on the left have. Rather than place the blame right on the actionable offender, you put it on the ones that shine the light of truth on the issue.
Please, keep playing the victim role, it's increasing our majorities all over the country!

Curious, Martha Stewart is doing time for the same thing Clinton did. Rewinding the subject back to the adultery to trivialize what happened is pretty clever though, but they don't call him Slick Willie for nothing.

What's more important to you. National Security or someone lying about a sex act?
That's what it boils down to.
