Democratic Donor

A Monday CBS Evening News story supported the liberal premise that Bush’s tax cut helps the rich while abandoning the poor by featuring expert comment from a CPA who declared that "when you go to the lower brackets, there is no savings," and: "If you went to summarize this tax proposal as we see it today, the winners are the wealthy."

But it turns out that accountant, Avery Neumark, has a personal political agenda of his own which CBS failed to note. The MRC’s Rich Noyes went to OpenSecrets.org and discovered that Neumark has made large contributions to the Democratic National Committee and liberal Democratic Congressman Jerrold Nadler.

As recounted in the January 7 CyberAlert, on the January 6 CBS Evening News Byron Pitts set out to demonstrate how the Bush plan helps only the rich. Pitts focused on the views of “a middle class wife” who saw Bush’s plan as “little more than a feel-good gift that won't give much to most Americans -- especially the middle class." Pitts supported her jealousy: "We asked accountant Avery Neumark to do the math. Under the President's overall tax plan, a person earning $175,000 per year could save $3,500. Someone earning $50,000 could expect to get back an extra $1,000. Anyone earning $25,000 -- zero." Pitts let Neumark proclaim: "If you went to summarize this tax proposal as we see it today, the winners are the wealthy." For more about that story:

Using the Center for Responsive Politics' OpenSecrets.org Web site, Rich entered the name “Neumark, Avery” in the state of New York and came up with these recent donations from someone with that name whose employer is the accounting firm of Rosen Seyomour Shapps Martin:

-- 6/6/1996: $500 to Nadler, Jerrold
-- 6/17/1999: $500 to Nadler, Jerrold
-- 10/6/2000: $1,000 to Democratic National Committee
-- 2/23/1996: $1,000 to Democratic National Committee

The Democrats always get mad when the truth is pointed out about there Democrat run news outlets such as cBS,ABC,NBC,CNN,PMSNBC ETC.....

I.E. the truth hurts the democrats and instead of debating it all they can do is name call.

FYI:
I do pretty well and there aren't any trailer parks anywhere near where I live but you can keep on dreaming about how tough I have it.

I do however have the U.S. Flag up and it stays up 24/7 but I didint always have it up,with that lying pig clinton arming the chi-coms while trying to disarm law abiding americans as well as the fact that he lied everyday while in office & he treated our military personal like dirt, I just couldint bring myself to put up the flag,Bill Clinton was skum and I just couldint put up the flag with that rapeing pig in the whitehouse.
That all changed when George W. Bush was elected President,the flag went back up again and we as americans could be proud to have a man of honour,dignity and courage & honesty as our President.

So your right about one thing, I have old glory up.

Rarely do I wear hats of any kind..Always found hats to be uncomfortable..

You can dream about how tough I have it while I relax in my new spa/Jacuzzi and sip a few adult beverages.

You may want to check out the FNC they do a pretty good job of not getting into this type of phony bias.

Yeah NRA, I hear they do a fair job of getting all sides, but I just can't see getting involved. I get enough news online and from the silent monitors at work. If I need anything outside of that, I find sources. Like here....... [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]
