There is a bill going to be introduced in Michigan that would seperate the girls from the boys in public schools,proponents say it will increase the learning ability of the girls (which they say suffer during the years that they start gaining an interest in boys),opponents say it will hurt the girls confidence,I asked my daughter and she says she would hate it and it would make them(girls)think of the boys even more,thats when I made up my mind to support it.What do you think.

i think the main concern is that the girls have the same opportunity as the guys. as long as the girls have the same access and expectations towards math and science then that is the main concern. that can be accomplished i believe without separating the gendres.
