Dearest Mrs. Reagan,
My most sincere condolences to you and your family. My father, Dr. Tom D. Klocker, Ph.D., served on a Congressional board of financial advisors to your husband. He told me many things about President Reagan, from his meetings with him. He was deeply honored to be of service. I remember a very important moment in my father’s life, after he had taken ill, received a very kind “Get Well Soon” note from President Reagan in 1988. My father broke out into tears upon receiving this touching note. It meant so much to my father to receive it from President Reagan.
Unfortunately, my father passed later that year, but upon reflection I believe to be one of the proudest moments in my father’s life and a true testament to the character moral fiber of you and your husband. It was an honor for me to serve in the United States Air Force during your husband’s administration.
I consider President Reagan one of our Founding Fathers, for no greater man have I known, had such a profound affect on this world, nor been a better example and leader, save one, our Lord Jesus Christ. May God bless you and keep you.
Tom J. Klocker
A Grateful American
