To My President:
Sir, you have made me proud to be an American. Your values, judgement and wisdom have helped to make our country strong. Opportunities abound here, your guidance during your Presidency instilled confidence in our government and strength in our economy for years after your terms as President came to an end. You were never afraid to ask for advice, you surrounded yourself with only the best. You were and are a man among men.
I know that this will never reach you....your health prevents this more than all of the staff at your disposal. It touches my heart to see your Wife's concern for you. We should all be as lucky as you to have a partner by our side to protect us, to help us and to provide comfort for us.
Mrs Reagan, you too make me proud to be an American. Your love, loyalty and companionship have provided my President with something that no one else could or would be willing to give. Please accept my best wishes, my respect and my personal condolences for the President's current health. Again, thank you...you are and always will be, The First Lady of The United States.
