as a 12 year old son of a democratic county supervisor from virginia in 1976 i followed politics {local & national} as i watched the republican natl. convention i saw this man with a look in his eyes like none i had ever saw. it was mr. reagan i liked what i saw then though i didnt tell my family .the country by the time i was 16 seemed to me like we were in a funk other countries were walking over us {iran }& we didnt do anything about it . it was then i hoped i would see that man who years before i had seen with that look in his eye ! i then told my family&anyone who would listen that he was the man to lead this country back to where we needed to go {i told my friends & family the hostages would be released the day he took office or we would be at war by weeks end }he and the USA won in 1980 . in 1984 i was old enough to vote. my vote went to ron ! i supported his policy because he spoke from the heart & follwed through with what he said he would do!{just like our president today}he believed in a STRONG AMERICA with a will to go with it!just the other day i went to washington & past the hilton i said a prayer for the president & especially for nancy & wondered how that man who years earlier made me proud to be an AMERICAN was doing . now i know . GOODBYE MR.PRESIDENT I WILL SEE YOU THIS WEEK ONE LAST TIME IN THE ROTUNDA IN PERSON IT IS LEAST I CAN DO FOR WHAT YOU DID FOR ME AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
