Dearest Mrs.Reagan and Your Family,
I just had to write you a note before this day ends.My husband was a young Navy Pilot and was killed in Vietnam thirty six years ago. Today,I could feel your love, your pride, but also your sadness. Our sweethearts have truly put out their hands and touched the face of God. I pray God will give you the strength you need in the days ahead and bless you each with His love.
Warmly,
Linda Hand Shoemaker
