I was a young child when Reagan left office, but the past couple days have brought me back to the Reagan White House with an utmost respect. I am a huge fan of the late legendary actor James Stewart, who happened to be good friends with Mr. and Mrs. Reagan. He campaigned for Ronnie during his run for governor, etc. I have many documentaries/bios on Mr. Stewart, but one of the most touching ones is from 1987. The President and Nancy are interviewed and up until this week I didn't realize the interview took place during his eight years in the White House. It is a wonderful testament that although he was the PRESIDENT, he still took time out for the everyday (in Jimmy's case: extraordinary) person.
